Bob has been a personal advisor and investor of PingCares. He serves as AARP's Vice President of Caregiving and Health Programs, where he leads the organization’s enterprise-wide strategy and execution to support the health and well-being of Americans aged 50 and older. In his role, Bob is dedicated to enhancing the ability of older adults to live independently at home and within their communities, recognizing the vital role of the 48 million family caregivers who provide essential support to make this possible. He directs AARP's initiatives to address the challenges faced by family caregivers and works to ensure that resources, tools, and advocacy efforts are in place to help individuals provide care while maintaining their own well-being.

Bob’s work at AARP emphasizes the importance of collaboration across sectors, engaging with government agencies, private organizations, and community groups to deliver comprehensive support systems for older adults and caregivers alike. He is a strong advocate for developing innovative solutions that promote aging in place, improving access to caregiving resources, and enhancing the quality of life for both care recipients and caregivers. His strategic leadership at AARP includes advancing policies and programs that facilitate a more caregiver-friendly society, advocating for better support networks, and increasing awareness of the critical role that caregivers play in the healthcare continuum.

His approach to caregiving and health programs reflects a deep understanding of the complexities involved in caregiving and the need for systemic support. Bob is committed to ensuring that caregivers are not overlooked in the larger conversation about healthcare and well-being. Through his efforts, AARP has made significant strides in offering practical tools, education, and community support that empower caregivers while easing the often overwhelming responsibilities they face.

Prior to joining AARP in 2010, Bob spent over 20 years in strategy development and management consulting, where he gained extensive experience working with rural communities and healthcare organizations to create effective strategies for growth and resilience. His background in consulting provided him with a deep understanding of the complexities of healthcare delivery, especially in underserved areas, and honed his skills in building partnerships that drive meaningful change for individuals and communities.
